Στο Παγκόσμιο Επισιτιστικό Πρόγραμμα του ΟΗΕ απονεμήθηκε την Παρασκευή το Νόμπελ Ειρήνης.
Όπως εξηγείται από την επιτροπή το World Food Programme συνεισφέρει καθημερινά στη ενίσχυση της αίσθησης αδελφοσύνης που αναφέρεται στην διαθήκη του Άλφρεντ Νόμπελ.
